TRANSLATION SERVICES IN PORTO

Translation of official documents between Portuguese and English for administrative purposes in Portugal and abroad.

1. Services Provided

We provide translations of personal and simple administrative documents, including a signed translator's declaration.Frequently requested documents:
• Birth, marriage, death, and divorce certificates
• Criminal record certificates
• Diplomas and qualification certificates
• Academic records / transcripts
• Other simple administrative documents issued by public authorities
We do not provide:
• Notarial services, apostille, or consular legalisation
• Specialised medical translation
• In-person service

2. Base Prices

Base price: €35 per pageIncludes certified translation with a signed translator’s declaration and delivery in digital format (PDF).All prices are subject to VAT at the applicable legal rate.

3. Process

1. Request submission
Send the complete, legible document(s), including all pages, stamps, and reverse sides, indicating the language combination (PT→EN or EN→PT) and the destination entity or country.
2. Confirmation
The final price and delivery deadline are confirmed based on the number of pages.
3. Payment
Work begins after confirmation.
4. Delivery
The translation is delivered by email in PDF format.

4. Important Notes

- All translations include a signed translator’s declaration.- When required by the receiving authority, the translation may need to be certified by a notary, lawyer, or solicitor; this procedure is the client’s responsibility.- Acceptance of the translation always depends on the receiving authority. Administrative decisions by third parties cannot be guaranteed.- These service terms apply to all requests unless otherwise agreed in writing.
